Terms and conditions of rental service

The minimum rental period for a vehicle is 3 days.

To hire a car, the renter must present a valid driving licence, identity document (passport, NIE or DNI), confirmed accommodation information. Drivers must have held a valid driving licence for at least 5 years and be between 26 and 70 years of age.

If several additional drivers are included in the rental contract, the same requirements apply to each of them as to the main hirer (driving licence, ID card, confirmed accommodation information, 5 year driving experience, age within established limits). Only individuals registered on the rental contract and identified in the aforementioned manner are authorised to drive the vehicle.

The total fee of 100% of the contract is paid at the moment of handing over the car to the renter: payment can be made in cash, with credit or debit card, via bank transfer to a bank account or in any other way that is convenient for both parties.

The mileage included in the rental price is equivalent to 250 km per day. Excess mileage will be charged at a rate of 0.2 euros per kilometre.

The prepaid days of service that have not been used are non-refundable.

The delivery and return of the vehicle is charged separately.

When travelling outside Spain (if previously negotiated with the company), the rental rate is doubled.

The renter is obliged to return the vehicle to the provider in accordance with the date, time and place stipulated in the rental contract. The rental contract is deemed to be terminated upon return of the vehicle and its keys to the rental company or its representative.

If the renter wishes to extend the hire of the vehicle beyond the time agreed in the contract, he must inform the rental company in advance before the end of the contract and pay the corresponding amount.

The renter must ensure and confirm that he has received the vehicle in proper condition and working order, with a full tank of fuel.

The renter is forbidden from altering the exterior or interior appearance of the vehicle, changing the structure or technical characteristics of the vehicle, installing additional equipment that might cause damage to the vehicle or dismounting the installed equipment.

The renter is obliged to operate the vehicle in accordance with the traffic regulations and the rules of operation of this type of vehicle, being responsible for payment of fines for any infringement of current legislation that may be incurred by the renter.

Insurance with an excess of EUR 300 is included in the price of the services (damages up to EUR 300 are to be borne by the renter).

The renter is obliged to compensate the provider for the cost of repair of the damage in the following cases:

- loss or damage to the keys,
- damage caused to the vehicle by a driver who is under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances,
- in case of damage caused to the vehicle when the vehicle is driven by a third person who has not been approved or is not eligible to drive and operate the vehicle or who is not the driver registered in the rental contract,
- damage caused to the vehicle in an accident (traffic accident) due to the renter's fault as a result of the renter's violation of traffic regulations, unless this is covered by insurance,
- causing damage to the vehicle as a result of negligence or deliberate damage (damage to the interior, damage caused by animals, scratches, nicks, scrapes);
- if there are salt and/or grease stains in the interior of the vehicle, an extra charge of 100 Euro will be charged for a dry cleaning service of the interior of the vehicle.

The renter's costs for highway tolls, fuel, parking fees are not included in the rental price of the vehicle.

The renter is responsible for returning the vehicle to the rental company in a clean condition and with a full tank of fuel. When returning the vehicle to the rental company or its representatives, the renter is obliged to fill the vehicle with fuel up to the full tank and return the vehicle in proper condition according to the specified regulations. When returning a dirty vehicle or a vehicle with a lower fuel level than at the beginning of the rental period, an additional charge for washing {30 euros} and refuelling will be made.
